Former Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has admitted that his secret to success as a footballer has been abstaining from sex.
The striker recently completed a move to USM Algers but he was a key performer for the Porcupine Warriors in the Ghana Premier League.
He scored 8 goals for the club in 16 appearances for the club.
In an interview with My Fabulous Zone, the striker said he has lots of female friends but he is yet to enter into any serious relationship.
“I’m not worried; I have now begun life. I have female friends but I am not dating at the moment," Opoku said.
“I have never entered into a relationship before and that keeps me going as a footballer. I have been strong in the game because of my abstinence from sex," he added.
The former Nkoranza Warriors striker made his first appearance for the senior national team Black Stars against South Africa.
