Ghanaian-born German midfielder Roberto Massimo was spotted training individually on the pitch this Tuesday.

The 23-year-old has been struggling with muscular issues for several weeks, and his return to the VfB Stuttgart squad this season remains uncertain.

Massimo's absence is not likely to have a significant impact on VfB Stuttgart's performance, as he has mainly been utilized as a substitute this season. His last appearance was on matchday 19 when VfB Stuttgart clinched a 5-2 victory against Leipzig at the MHP Arena.

The Ghanaian midfielder has played five games for VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga this season. With his contract set to expire on June 30, 2024, it is questionable whether Massimo will ever wear the Swabian jersey in a game again.

Currently, VfB Stuttgart is third on the Bundesliga table with 67 points after 32 games. The team's focus is on maintaining their position and finishing the season strong, while Massimo's future at the club hangs.
