Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has stressed that his team will not compete and conceded six goals in a game in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

After winning the MTN FA Cup title this season, the Phobians have earned the right to play in the CAF Confederation Cup in the next edition.

Speaking to Asempa FM in an interview on Friday, July 1, 2022, Coach Samuel Boadu says he has learned from the failures of his team last season.

“I don't think we will concede 6 goals in Africa again. The boys are now exposed.

"The more you participate the more you learn. I have learned how to prepare for Africa. We wouldn't want to go like we did last season. The timing was bad last season,” Coach Samuel said.

Although Hearts of Oak struggled in the 2021/22 football season, the team still managed to end the campaign with a trophy.

There are high hopes for the team next season.
