The attacker joined Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina on deadline day of the winter transfer window. His current club is the 13th he has played for since he began his professional career.

Just last weekend, he marked his debut for Besiktas with a bang as he climbed from the bench to find the back of the net to help the team cruise to a 3-0 win over FK Gaziantep.

Speaking in his post-match interview, KP Boateng expressed his delight and shared that it is a fulfillment to score in yet a different league.

According to the former Black Stars forward, there is no regret to have chosen to travel around during his playing career.

"I like to travel. If I ask you to be like this, this is a bit controversial. Because if you ask a boy who is dreaming of becoming a football player right now, he tells that he wants to play in a team and wants to be a legend by spending his whole career in a team. I played in different countries”, KP Boateng said.

He continued, “I think I also left a mark at this point. I have learned so many languages, so I met with different cultures. Therefore, I have no regrets. the only thing missing Turkey was on the list, and I've also completed now”.
