Asante Kotoko striker, Steven Mukwala has revealed that he has rediscovered his goalscoring form.
The Ugandan striker after an impressive first half of the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, Mukwala struggled to find the back of the net in the second round of the campaign.
However, the 24-year-old returned to the scoresheet over the weekend in Kotoko's 2-0 win over Legon Cities in the Matchday 29 games.
Mukwala has now scored eight goals in 17 appearances for the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking to the club website, the forward revealed that he has rediscovered his goalscoring form.
"Yes, I’ve probably gotten back my confidence," Mukwala said.
"Scoring in each game gives confidence as a striker, so I thank the team because it’s really a teamwork," he added.
Asante Kotoko, who now sit 10th on the league log with 40 points will be hosted by Berekum Chelsea in the Matchday 30 games at the Golden City Park this weekend.
