I hope Kasim Adams will get back to playing regularly soon – Hoffenheim’s Kevin Akpoguma

Heffenheim defender Kevin Akpoguma says he hopes Ghana’s Adams Adams will get back to playing competitive club football soon whether at the club or in a different team.

The 28-year-old has been frozen out of the Bundesliga team’s squad and is not even making match day rosters after 13 league games.

Kasim Adams spent the previous season on loan at Basel, where he made an impact, featuring in 50 games across all competitions and netting three goals.

Despite an option for Basel to make the move permanent, they declined, leading to Adams' return to Hoffenheim for the current season

“I just hope that in the future he gets back to regular play here or in a different team because he deserves it with his attitude. He’s a very good guy,” the Nigerian Akpoguma told Joy Sports after Hoffenheim’s 2-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

It is unknown if Kasim Adams will seek a move away from the club or he will stay and hope he gets an opportunity.
