I like playing in France and I want to stay here in Metz - John Boye

At the pre-match press conference on Thursday, FC Metz captain John Boye spoke to the press. The Ghanaian defender has notably confided in his future, which he would see well in Garnet.

Arrived in Metz in 2018, John Boye has become an executive in the Metz dressing room, to the point of becoming the club's captain at the Croix de Lorraine this season.

As he comes to the end of his contract in June, he was asked about his future within the Moselle team:

"Metz is a good city, I love everything here. I love playing in France, everything is good here for me. If I want to stay here next season? Yes of course ! I want to stay here in Metz. So let's do the best," he said.

John Boye this season in the Ligue 1 has played 31 games scoring one goal and has two assists.
