Ghana attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus has opened up about the position he would like to play following the completion of his transfer to West Ham United.

There have been lots of debates about his best position after he was featured in as many as more than six positions during his time with the Dutch Eredivisie giants.

Speaking after concluding a five-year move to the East London club, Kudus admitted he is versatile and can play many positions as exhibited last season with Ajax.

His best performances all came playing out of his preferred central position, which he said is the central midfield positions. He excelled as a false nine, centre forward, and right winger.

He also said he would play in the position that the coach believes will help the team because the team goal comes first.

“Of course, we all know my versatility for the past years, but I think the position I've played most spots.

“All my actions are from the central areas, but it’s the team that's above everyone else so the position the coach feels is best for me to help the team, of course, I will give my 100 per cent best.

“Everything that I've played in did my best is from like, an attacking position, from the midfield.”
