I saved Dreams FC and I’m here to save King Faisal too – Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu

The new head coach of King Faisal Football Club, Ignatius Osei-Fosu has opened up on why he accepted the job.

On Wednesday, April 5, the Kumasi-based club announced that management has settled on the young tactician as the new head coach for the side.

Hours later, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu handled his first match when King Faisal locked horns with Asante Kotoko.

The new coach managed to guide his team to hold the Porcupine Warriors to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu revealed that he accepted the King Faisal job because he wants to save the team from relegation just like he saved Dreams FC last season.

“The reality is that I'm a results oriented.  I saved Dreams FC, and I'm here to save King Faisal, too,” the coach said.

Meanwhile, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu remains confident that beyond saving King Faisal from relegation, he can also lead the team to win the Ghana Premier League.

“When you look at the points build up. It's possible we can win the League,” the coach said.
