Ernest Nuamah's former FC Nordsjaelland teammate, Andreas Schjelderup, has said he enjoys watching the Black Stars new boy play.

Schjelderup, who was awarded the title of the best player in Autumn, conveyed his congratulations to the talented winger through a video message delivered in a van.

Schjelderup has since joined Benfica after his transfer from Nordsjaelland during the January window.

Since the start of the spring season in the Championship group, the 19-year-old Nuamah has showcased his abilities by netting four goals in eight matches.

His performances have caught the attention of Schjelderup, who expressed his admiration for Nuamah's game.

Speaking through the video played in the van, Schjelderup said, “Hi guys, it’s been a pleasure following all of you over the past month.

"I miss you all so much, and I just wanted to drop by and congratulate Ernest ‘Nana Messi’ Nuamah on winning the Player of the Spring award, voted for by all the managers.

"You’ve taken on some significant responsibilities with penalties, and you’ve executed them very well. I thoroughly enjoy watching you play.”
