Former Chelsea star Michael Essien has stated that his focus currently is to becoming the best coach he can be.
The Ghanaian legend recently joined the coaching staff of Danish side Nordsjaelland to learn as he works on his coaching badges. It has been reported that he is seeking to earn a UEFA license A qualification.
In his interview with sports magazine I, he revealed his targets when asked if he wants to become a coach in the Premier League.
“Right now my focus is on becoming the best coach I can be through education and my role at FCN,” he said.
“Then the future will tell me which role is the best and right for me.”
