The head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Coach Nora Hauptle is upbeat ahead of the game against Guinea in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games.

Ghana last Friday beat Guinea 3-0 in Conakry in the first leg of the first round of the women’s qualifiers on the continent.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference today, Coach Nora Hauptle said she wants to develop the strengths of her squad.

“Like I said before, we are a powerhouse. I don't judge my team based on strengths and weaknesses. I think we have a lot of strengths and first of all my style is always to develop the strengths of the team,” the Black Queens coach said.

According to her, she is happy to be back in Ghana for the reverse fixture against Guinea.

“It is nice to be back home in Accra, we had a good away game facing some challenges of course on this adventurous journey to Guinea but we had a very stable Game,” Coach Nora Hauptle indicated.

The second leg of the contest between Ghana and Guinea is scheduled to be played on Tuesday, July 18.

The game will kick off at 4pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
