I want to train young goalkeepers to become great in the future – Fatau Dauda

Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda has disclosed that he is working to ensure he gives back to society.

According to him, his goal after retiring from the game is to train the new generation of goalkeepers to become great in the future.

"It's all about giving the knowledge to these young ones; we have talents in the country and on the continent that needed the right training for their development. I want to give them the right training so they can become great goalkeepers in future,” Fatau Dauda told Times Sports in an interview.

Fatau Dauda is currently with Right to Dream Academy as a goalkeeper’s coach. He hopes that with the opportunity, he will be able to train as many young goalkeepers as possible to mould them to become national assets.

Opening up on his new role at the Right to Dream Academy, the former Legon Cities FC captain added, "I decided to start my coaching last season and spoke to Derrick Boateng who is a scout for the Academy and also with the Technical Director, Didi Dramani. I was with Right to Dream for close to five months for my internship after which I was given the role permanently.”
