Ghana international, Osman Bukari has disclosed that he used to be a runner before he decided to choose football as his sport.

The Black Stars winger was in action for his Red Star Belgrade outfit on Wednesday night when the team hammered Pyunik 5-0 in the UEFA Champions League playoff.

On the matchday, Osman Bukari started and used his blistering pace to his full advantage. His first goal in particular made it clear that he was faster than every player on the pitch.

Subsequently, the Black Stars forward went on to score two additional goals to complete a sensational hat-trick.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Osman Bukari said he has always been fast.

The winger shared, “I was a runner before I chose football. I'm fast, when I have the ball at my feet, I have to take advantage of it.”

Since joining Red Star Belgrade, Osman Bukari has scored five goals after making five appearances in all competitions.
