The head coach for Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has indicated that he would gladly accept the offer to coach the Black Stars should he be offered the opportunity.

Recently, a former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has recommended that the national team job should be given to the former WAFA SC tactician.

Reacting to that in an interview with StarTimes, Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum described a chance to coach the Black Stars as a national duty.

According to him, if and when the call comes, he will be ready to accept the job.

“I mean it’s national call and when the day comes and I’m available, I think once it’s national duty, we will all rise up to the call.” Prosper Narteh said after guiding Asante Kotoko to beat Accra Lions 3-1 in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

That encounter was played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
