Cameroonian forward Albert Diego Dieudonne Eonde is all set to rejoin Hearts of Oak for their pre-season training ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Having departed Ghana after the conclusion of the 2022/23 season, Eonde spent the break in his home country, Cameroon.
Now, with the new season fast approaching, the striker is eager to reunite with his teammates and gear up for the challenges ahead.
"I have been in Cameroon during the break, but I'm hoping to join the team anytime soon from today. I am leaving the country and I will be in Ghana to join the team because the flight I boarded will fly tomorrow, which is on the 4th of August," Albert Eonde revealed in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
The Phobians commenced their pre-season preparations on Tuesday, hoping to lay a solid foundation for a successful campaign in the upcoming season.
After a challenging previous season, the team is determined to bounce back and make their amends in the Ghana Premier League after finishing 12th.
Albert Diego Dieudonne Eonde joined Hearts of Oak in February on a three-and-a-half-year deal after a great deal of success in the Zimbabwe Premier League.
