Experienced Ghanaian football administrator, George Afriyie has opined that all is not well with football in the country.
This is why he has decided to contest in the Presidential election of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) this year.
Speaking to the media last week Friday after filing his nomination to contest, George Afriyie vowed to expose GFA President Kurt Okraku as he accused him of amassing wealth for himself and his Dreams Football Club.
“You are made to believe Kurt Okraku is making wealth for all. It is a good thing, but the truth is he is making wealth for Dreams FC. Shine your eyes,” George Afriyie told the media.
The former Ghana FA Vice President continued, “If three of his team members make it to the World Cup and each gets $100,000, how much are they making? What about Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, and other clubs?”
According to George Afriyie, he has a lot of information and will expose Kurt Okraku in the course of his campaign for delegates to know the true state of Ghana football under the GFA boss.
