I will work hard next season – Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya declares

Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya has promised the club’s faithful hard work ahead of the 2024/25 football season.

The former King Faisal star has already admitted he didn’t live up to expectation in his debut campaign with the Ghanaian giants and has therefore promised improved performance in the upcoming season.

He scored two goals and provided five assists in 25 Premier League games but Yahaya is determined to do more for the Ghanaian giants.

"I will work hard next season. I’m aiming to score not less than five goals in the upcoming season. I will also do everything possible provide assist in every single game I play”

Asante Kotoko endured a difficult season, finishing sixth in the just concluded Ghana Premier League standings.

Meanwhile, the team will commence preparation on Friday, June 28, 2024 ahead of the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup slated for July 5, 2025.

The Porcupine Warriors will travel to face Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium next weeked.
