Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Emmanuel Frimpong has emphasized that he is ready to work together with supporters of the club to bring success.
The 24-year-old who is the son of the team’s Majority Shareholder, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, was confirmed as the new CEO of the club on Friday morning.
Speaking on Kumasi FM, Emmanuel Frimpong has confirmed that the feud between supporters and his father has been settled.
He further revealed that he is now ready to work with the supporters to ensure they bring success to the club.
“Together with the supporters, we will work as a family. The current impasse has been dealt with after the supporters wrote an apology letter to my father, we will work smoothly”, the young CEO stressed.
Meanwhile, he has also added that there are a lot of sponsors who will soon come on board to help make the club big again.
