Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi has picked his potential champion for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The world is less than two months away from this year’s mundial scheduled to be staged in Qatar.

Ahead of what will be the first-ever World Cup staged at the end of the year, Lawyer Kwesi Nyantaki has disclosed that he won’t be surprised if Brazil lifts the enviable trophy.

According to him, Ghana has a good chance of doing well but must first prepare well for the tournament.

"We [Ghana 🇬🇭 Black Stars] have to prepare well so we can do well and Government should also support the FA. Brazil 🇧🇷 has a very good team and I won't be surprised if they win the 2022 World Cup,” the former Ghana FA boss told Kings GHTV Sports in an interview.

At the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ghana has been drawn in Group H to face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
