Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye has stated that he won't be surprised if Ghana exit the 2022 World Cup early.

He said Ghana lacks quality in all departments and we should just go and gain some experience.

The Black Stars of Ghana is currently in Abu Dhabi preparing to take on Switzerland in an international friendly. The team will fly to Doha, Qatar for the World Cup.

The Black Stars of Ghana is in Group H alongside Uruguay, Portugal, and South Korea. Ghana will play Portugal on 24th November at the Stadium 974, South Korea on 28th November at the Education City Stadium, and play their final group game against Uruguay on 2nd December at the Al Janoub Stadium.

"I am telling you the truth they have matured players more than us apart from Dede and his brother who have gone on two occasions Partey and the rest haven't tasted the World Cup," he told said on Ernest Brew Smith TV as monitored by footballghana.com

"The World Cup is different it doesn't part if you are playing in Europe or somewhere else. How many times have these players been groomed for national camp? If we go and it doesn't go well we should come back and build from there. While we are adding to the team then we are also taking some out,"

"The expectation we are taking to (Qatar) that is what I am saying if we go and things go well fine if doesn't go well too we should build the boys from there. Even when we had matured and experienced players we couldn't,"
