I would like to stay on as Ghana head coach for the 2022 world cup – Otto Addo

German-trained tactician, Otto Addo has indicated that he wants to stay on as the head coach of the Black Stars to take Ghana to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The tactician who has been working with German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund for years was appointed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to take charge of the playoff tie of the world cup qualifiers.

In the two games against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Coach Otto Addo guided Ghana to overcome the opponent to secure qualification to the 2022 world cup.

Speaking in an interview, Otto Addo has expressed his desire to continue being in charge of the Black Stars.

“My contract was for the two games with Nigeria. I would like to continue and go to the World Cup”, Ghana coach Otto Addo said as quoted on publico.pt.

Since qualifying Ghana for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Coach Otto Addo has returned to Germany where he is working as an assistant to Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund.
