Ibrahim Osman and Christopher Bonsu Baah shortlisted among top 100 players for 2024 Golden Boy Award

Ghanaian duo, Ibrahim Osman and Christopher Bonsu Baah have been shortlisted among the top 100 list of players for the 2024 Golden Boy Award.

The pair outstanding contributions to their respective clubs did not go unnoticed, earning a place in Golden Boy award shortlist.

Ibrahim Osman, who plies his trade for Danish club FC Nordjaelland has been impressive in the ongoing campaign, scoring seven goals and providing six assists across competition.

The 19-year-old recently made his debut for the Black Stars after featuring against Nigeria and Uganda respectively.

The Brighton and Hove Albion bound has been ranked 41st in the list released on Monday.

Christopher Baah Bonsu, on the other side, has earned a place in the Golden Boy rankings for the second time running due to his impressive performance.

Bonsu Baah, who has netted three times in 41 matches for KRC Genk in Belgium is ranked 60th.

Meanwhile, Barcelona's Lamine Yamal leads the ranking with English-Ghanaian Kobbie Mainoo in the top ten.

Illiah Akhomach of Morocco is the highest-ranked African player on the list, sitting in 20th position.

The Golden Boy Award is given to players plying their trades in Europe and are below the age of 21.
