Iconic image of Samuel Eto'o celebrating with Ghanaian youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi emerges

A picture of Samuel Eto'o celebrating a goal with a ball-boy has emerged online and that ball-boy was young Callum Hudson-Odei, with wide-eyed in amazement as one of his heroes celebrated with him.

The picture shows the South London-born player, now 18, celebrating with Eto'o after scoring a goal in a match against Manchester United in 2014.

Cameroon star Eto'o had just struck the final goal in his hat-trick in the 3-1 win over United and ran behind the net to cheer with the nearest ball-boy and the fans.

The highly-rated 18-year-old winger now a key first-team player for Chelsea and England, had a splendid debut season in the Premier League playing only 10 matches without a goal, yet won the heart of many Chelsea fans is on the verge of signing a  new £200,000 a week deal.

By that point, he had already been training with the club for six years and was soon pushed through into the youth team.

Hudson-Odoi was strongly linked to Bayern Munich in the winter transfer but the Premier League expressed their desire to keep the youngster.

He is expected to return to full duties after the international break.

The English born Ghanaian youngster had duties as a ball- boy while in Chelsea's Academy.
