Ghana's national football team, the Black Stars, look to bounce back from a lackluster performance as they aim to rectify their errors following a boring goalless draw against Madagascar in the Group E game of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

Fred Pappoe expressed his belief that if the Black Stars address their shortcomings, they will undoubtedly emerge with renewed strength and determination.

"There is always room for improvement in football is one thing that we always have to accept in football that at every point you don't have to get complacent," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"If you look at their last one or two matches their performance wasn't encouraging. But I believe that the coaches are looking up to everything and are up to the task to improve the team as you go on,"

"With football the more you go on the more you get to know were your weaknesses are so definitely I am sure they will go up. Once they are working actively on the job they will correct their mistakes and am sure they will come back stronger,"

Ghana needs a positive result against Central Africa Republic to secure a ticket to Afcon 2023 which will be held in Ivory Coast.
