Kotoko will play in the next CAF Confederation Cup after petitioning the GFA Normalization Committee against their decision with some other clubs not to present any Ghanaian club to CAF for the competition.

There have been varied views since Kotoko declared their intentions to play in the inter-club competition. Kurt Okraku is part of those who think Kotoko shouldn't go.

"If I'm Kotoko i will not go to Africa but it is their prerogative, if I'm CK Akunnor i will not go to Africa, if I'm George Amoako, CEO of the club i will not go to Africa as simple as that," he told Asempa FM

"I do not think that they have a team that is competitive enough to make a big mark on the African continent, i think they have to bring in new talents, develop the team, play competitive games, they need to look for extra resources and to be very competitive.

He added that " I dont think they need this pressure now."
