If you don’t have $3 million in your account forget about making an impact in Africa – Abdul Salam to Ghanaian clubs

New Edubiase FC President, Abdul Salam Yakubu is confident that it is possible for a Ghanaian club to succeed in any of Africa’s inter-club competitions.

However, he insists that a club that will be able to make an impact in Africa must have at least $3 million ready to spend.

Speaking to Angel FM in Accra, the experienced football administrator said any club that does not have that amount of money and qualifies for the Africa inter-club competition will fail.

“If a Ghanaian club wants to make an impact in an African competition, you must have at least $3 million.

“If you don’t have that money in your accounts, forget it,” Abdul Salam Yakubu said.

At the end of the 2022/23 football season, the winners of the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup will represent the country in the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively.
