If you want to watch games at Baba Yara you must buy E-Ticket – NSA tells public

The National Sports Authority (NSA) Ashanti Regional Directorate has issued a press release to promote E-Ticketing at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Recently, fans have expressed worry over network challenges associated with E-Ticket purchases for entry into the stadium.

While many have called for E-Ticketing to be abolished, the NSA says it has come to stay.

In its press release, the NSA Ashanti Regional Directorate said it will continue to issue electronic tickets (e-tickets) for fans who watch football games at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“The electronic form of ticketing is the approved mode of ticket purchase by the Ministry of Youth & Sports and the NSA. As such, the old system of issuing tickets manually is outmoded and would not be revisited at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“All Football fans are therefore encouraged to buy tickets ahead of time using the shortcode *711# to watch the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium,” parts of the release from the Ashanti Regional NSA said.

Meanwhile, the NSA has assured all stakeholders and football-loving Ghanaians that collaboration with the network providers will be intensified to smoothen the processes of acquiring e-tickets for matches.
