Medeama SC coach Nebojsa Kapor has expressed disappointment in his team’s performance against Asante Kotoko in their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League week 28 game on Saturday.

Kapor said his team did not show enough fighting spirit after getting the equalizer against the Porcupine Warriors.

The Porcupine Warriors took the lead after inside half an hour through Stephen Mukwala but gave away a penalty that Diawusie Taylor converted in the second half and drew the game in the end.

Speaking after the game, Nebojsa Kapor admitted that the game against Asante Kotoko was tough, but stated that his team’s performance was not bad.

“It was a very tough game. A corner kick we didn’t defend well and we conceded after. This is always very tough,” Nebojsa told StarTimes after the game.

“Our performance was not bad. We created something just that I am a little disappointed at how we continued after the equaliser.”

The draw means Kotoko remain in eleventh with 37 points while Medeama are seventh with 40 points.
