I’m getting better and better at Leicester City - Abdul Fatawu Issahaku

19-year-old Ghana winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, has expressed optimism about his progression, stating he's focused on continuous improvement.

His remarks followed an impressive first start for Leicester City, having recently joined the club on loan from Sporting CP.

Prior to the Bristol City game, Fatawu had made three substitute appearances.

The match against Bristol City was a hard-fought contest, ultimately won by Leicester City with a 1-0 victory, courtesy of Jamie Vardy's penalty.

After the game, Fatawu took a moment to acknowledge the fans for their support. He also celebrated Leicester City's ascent to the top of the Championship table after eight games.

Reflecting on his choice to join Leicester City, Fatawu expressed contentment with his decision and getting better.

"I think this was the right team for me to choose, you know. So I am happy. I am just getting ready to be better and better. I am just happy to be here."

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku also made a substitute appearance as Leicester City bowed out of the Carabao Cup in midweek.
