Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara says he is not under pressure despite his outfit defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians have suffered back to back defeat in the Ghana Premier League after falling short to their rivals on Sunday afternoon in matchday 31 of the top-flight.

Before the game, Hearts of Oak had succumbed to defeat to Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.

And on Sunday, the Phobians were unable to bounce back to winning ways following defeat to Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors completed the double over their arch-rivals, following a thrilling 3-2 win earlier in the campaign.

The Uganda international scored two brilliant goals as the Porcupine Warriors cruised to a 2-0 win at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Mukwala opened the scoring after just eight minutes into the game before sealing victory in injury time to snatch maximum points for the Porcupine Warriors.

“Personally, I’m not under pressure but the team is. Don’t single me out. We are under pressure because we need more points to survive. We need the points in the three remaining games. We don’t have any choice. To get points we have to score”

The win propels Kotoko into the top half of the table, now in 9th place and further away from the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak find themselves in a precarious position, sitting 14th on the table, just two points above the drop zone.
