I’m proud of what the Black Queens achieved this year; we can have a nice Christmas – Coach Nora Hauptle

Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle has admonished her players and technical team members to celebrate the success of the team this year during the Christmas holidays.

The Swiss tactician has successfully led Ghana to qualify for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournament.

In the final round of the qualifiers, the Black Queens had to work hard and managed to secure a 3-2 aggregate victory over Namibia.

Speaking in a post-match interview after the second leg game on Tuesday, Coach Nora Hauptle said she is proud of her team.

She said the Black Queens can now look forward to enjoying the Christmas after a successful year.

“I’m proud of this year we won out of 11, 10 games and I think we can have a nice Christmas,” Coach Nora Hauptle said.

The Black Queens will hope to have good preparations in the run-up to the 2024 WAFCON tournament in Morocco.
