Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Torric Jebrin believes his inclusion in Ghana's senior national team, the Black Stars, will give the handlers options upfront.

Torric, who now plays for Egypt's Ismaily FC believes he could provide attacking options for the coach, given that there are not many strikers in the team.

In an interview with the Graphic Sports last Monday, Jebrin, who played 28 times for Ismaily believes has been excluded because he plays in a relatively unknown league and pleaded for the chance to prove himself.

"I'm not desperate to be in the Black Stars but I think as a Ghanaian football who is doing well, I deserve a chance to be in the team and that's all I'm asking for.

" The coaches may not know me because their monitoring has not been extended to the Eygpt League, but I can confidently say that I have not done badly and as it is now all Ghanaians playing everywhere are given the chance to play for Ghana, I think I also have to be considered.

"Perhaps, my not playing for any of the age teams while I was a teenager with Hearts have affected my chances, but now, I'm more experienced and matured and I think I qualify to be in the Black Stars. Coach Avram Grant should given me that call up and assess for himself," Jebrin said.
