Black Stars defender, Tariq Lamptey has opened up about his injury at Brighton & Hove Albion.
According to him, he suffered a small injury towards the end of the 2022/23 English Premier League season.
Speaking to Citi FM, Tariq Lamptey said he is working hard to make a full recovery from his injury.
“Towards the end of the season, I suffered something (of a) small (injury), but I am working hard on recovery to be back soon.”
“I just have to just keep working hard and it’s nothing too serious,” Tariq Lamptey said.
The Ghana full-back played only played 20 matches for Brighton & Hove Albion throughout the 2022/23 English Premier League season.
He is expected to miss the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification match between Madagascar and Ghana in June.
The game is scheduled to be played on June 18.
