German-born winger of Ghanaian descent, Prince Osei Owusu climbed off the bench to inspire 1860 Munich to a pulsating 3-2 over Duisburg in the 3.Liga of German football.

The youngster made the matchday squad but failed to earn a place on the starting eleven. Watching on from the substitute bench, the winger witnessed his team go down by 2 goals to nothing after 50 minutes of play at the Grünwalder Stadion.

On the 59th minute, Prince Osei Owusu came on to take the place of Herbert Paul. Wasting no time, he immediately executed the plans of his gaffer with his constant runs at the defense of Duisburg.

Eventually, he provided an assist for Dennis Dressel who scored to reduce the deficit for the home team.

Though Duisburg tried to stay compact at the back, they could not hold on till the finish line as a second goal from Efkan Bekiroglu leveled the score.

On the 86th minute, Prince Osei Owusu showed his quality in style as he buried a fine effort into the back of the net to ensure 1860 Munich emerged as 3-2 winners against Duisburg at the end of the 90 minutes.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian now has 4 goals and 3 assists after making 19 appearances this season. He remains a key member of the Munich-based side as they continue their chase for promotion to the 2. Bundesliga.
