Osterunds defender Samuel Mensah has expressed delight with his side's victory over Turkish giants Galatasary in the second round Europa League.
Ostersunds defeated Galatasary 2-0 at the Jamkraft Arena on Thursday evening.
Saman Ghoddos and Jamie Hopcutt got the goals in the 68th and 90th minute respectively for Ostersunds.
Mensah who has been with the club for some time now was impressive for the side.
“It was a great experience for us to play against one of the best teams in the world and we worked very hard today to get the win. I am very happy with what we achieved,” Mensah told footballmadeinghana.com
” We need to do the same when we go to Turkey next week for the return leg. We have not qualified yet so we have to keep focus and do the job in Turkey. Galatasary are very strong and they play physical football also,”
