Augsburg right back Daniel Opare says he will represent the country anytime he is given a call up to the national team, the Black Stars.

The Ghanaian defender has rediscovered the form that made him one of the most sort after right backs in the world, as he is consistently enjoying 90 minutes of action with Bundesliga side Augsburg.

The former Real Madrid player, spoke of his affection for his country, Ghana and how anxious he is to return to the Black Stars following another impressive outing that saw him help Augsburg defeat R.P Liepzig.

“For the moment, we are not in a good position right now because we have two qualification matches to play,” he told Bundesliga Vibes

“Ghana is my country and if they invite me I will still represent my country.

“Of course I am interested in returning to the team.”

Opare who was loaned out last season to French lower side R C Lens, had a difficult past three season with poor form and lack of play times and injuries.

The former Ghana youth Star had to be subdued for most part of his budding career after spells at Real Madrid, Anderlect and Augsburg.

However, with his new found form, the 26 year old will hope to stay injury free as he eyes a call up to the Black Stars team, which currently has only one right back in Harrinson Afful after Coach Kwesi Appiah was forced to play center back Joseph Larweh because of injury suffered by the former.
