Ghana international, Inaki Williams has climbed higher on the list of the top 20 players with the most goals for Athletic Club.
The highly-rated forward has been a key man for Bilbao for many years and remains an important player. ‘
Over the past weekend, Inaki Williams started for Athletic Club and scored with a fantastic effort to seal a 3-2 win for the team against Villarreal.
That goal was the 91st goal scored by the Black Stars attacker since debuting for the Spanish La Liga side.
The goal has seen Inaki Williams equalling the record of club legend Cuco Ziganda.
The Spaniard also scored 91 goals for Athletic Bilbao but did so in fewer games; 291 games.
For Inaki Williams, it has taken him 394 games to reach that milestone.
Meanwhile, Inaki Williams is just nine goals from reaching 100 goals as an Athletic Bilbao player.
The forward is expected to be part of the Ghana squad for the first round of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup later this month.
