Ghanaian teenage sensation Foster Apetorgbor has credited coach Maxwell Konadu following a successful season at Nsoatreman FC.
The 16-year-old, who is a final-year student at Kumasi High School showed glimpses of good performances in the recently concluded season despite the challenges of balancing school and sport.
The talented player, who joined the Nsoatre-based club during the January transfer window made 17 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and delivered top class performance for the team.
Apetorgbor sealed the deal by scoring the game-winning penalty that secured the FA Cup trophy for Nsoatreman against Bofoakwa Tano last Sunday.
Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Apetorgbor singled his coach out for praise after playing an instrumental role in his stay at the club.
“I will give all the credit to coach Maxwell Konadu. He has really helped me in my football career. Everywhere he goes, he wants to go with me. I thank him and ask God’s blessings for him”
“He gives me the confidence and the platform to excel. He believes in me and whenever he gives me the platform, I deliver” he said.
Apetorgbor clinched two Player of the Month awards in the just concluded season.
He is undoubtedly capable of becoming a world-class player who will astonish fans for many years to come if he maintains his current work ethic.
