The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season climaxed on Sunday, June 16, with Great Olympics becoming the last of three clubs to suffer relegation.

Before the final weekend of the Ghanaian top-flight league, Bofoakwa Tano and Real Tamale United’s relegation had been confirmed weeks ago.

Hearts of Oak, Legon Cities, Karela United and Heart of Lions all headed into the final weekend in danger of being relegated.

However, following a 3-2 victory for Hearts of Oak, the team managed to escape the drop.

A win for Karela United as well as draws for Legon Cities FC and Heart of Lions saved the teams from relegation.

Despite being awarded three points after RTU failed to honour their fixture, Great Olympics could still not be saved.

As a result, Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano, and RTU have all been relegated from the league campaign.

The teams will compete in the National Division One League next season.
