Ex-Hearts midfielder Emmanuel Nettey urges club’s hierarchy to recruit right players amid GPL struggles

Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey has added his voice to the club recent struggles in the Ghana Premier League.

The Ghanaian giants have been poor in the past two season, finishing below the top ten teams in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians placed 12th last two seasons before finishing 14ht in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign.

Speaking to DelSoka on YouTube, Nettey, who plays in Iran presently urged the club’s hierarchy to recruit the right materials to revive the team ahead of the new season.

“I wasn’t really happy considering the Hearts of Oak we left and the Hearts of Oak we get to see now but then, I feel that season is past and we are driving towards a new season so I’m just praying the right things will done because we all know the club has been in come rough patches” he said.

“I feel we just need to do the right recruitment because Hearts is not just a club. We need the right materials to actually put the club where it belongs”

“This is our club, we can’t do without it, and we love the club so the big men have to do everything possible to revive the club. The new players must also play their hearts out because we came to meet some of the great and did our best to end the 11-year trophy drought”

“I believe the way have been paved for the new guys. So they should try and do their best and trust me they are really going to enjoy it” he said.
