Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari secured his second successive Serbian league title as Red Star Belgrade triumphed in a thrilling encounter against Backa Topola.

The Serbian giants, defending their title, clinched victory with a 2-1 win, extending their lead at the top of the table by 14 points with four matches remaining.

Peter Olayinka and Cherif Ndiaye netted crucial goals for Red Star in the 55th and 75th minute respectively, while Ivan Milosavljevic scored for Backa Topola in the 60th minute. Osman Bukari's contributions were instrumental throughout the season, with seven goals and six assists in 27 matches.

Since joining Red Star Belgrade from Gent in 2022, Osman Bukari has been a standout performer, excelling in both domestic and UEFA Champions League competitions.

This victory adds to his Serbian Cup and Serbian Super League titles from last year. With his contract set to expire in 2026, the 24-year-old's market value stands at €8,000,000 according to Transfermarkt.
