Ghanaian striker Prince Osei Owusu found the back of the net in Toronto FC's 2-1 loss to Forge FC in the Canadian Championship Semi-final on Wednesday.

Prince Osei Owusu, who was subbed in at the start of the second half for Aime Mabika, scored a late goal in the 88th minute at Tim Hortons Field.

Forge FC, featuring Ghanaian winger Nana Ampomah, took an early lead with Béni Badibanga's long-range strike in the 11th minute. Canadian-born Ghanaian defender Kwasi Poku extended Forge FC's lead just three minutes later, scoring from the center of the box.

Despite having more possession and shots, Toronto FC struggled to convert their chances. Prince Osei Owusu's late goal, assisted by Derrick Etienne Jr. from a corner, was not enough to prevent their 10th consecutive winless game.

Toronto FC will now shift their focus to their upcoming July 13th Major League Soccer (MLS) match against Philadelphia Union.
