Hearts of Oak are set to secure the signing of Nations FC duo of Asamoah Boateng Afriyie and Michael Awuah Mensah in the ongoing transfer window.

The Phobians are in the market searching for quality players following a disappointing Ghana Premier League campaign last term.

The Ghanaian giants finished 14th at the end of the league season and are eager to make impact in the upcoming campaign.

However, the Phobians has identified striker Asamoah Boateng and defender Awuah Mensah, who enjoyed an amazing season with Nations FC as perfect players to strengthen their squad for next season.

The pair are already in Accra and are expected to undergo medical this week before they will put pen to paper. They will sign a deal that will keep them at the club until the summer of 2026.

Asamoah Boateng, 26, scored 12 goals across competitions for Nations FC, who finished seventh at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Awuah Mensah was also rock-solid at the back for Nations FC, preventing a host of strikers from finding the net last season.
