Nsoatreman awaits FA Cup prize money - General Manager Eric Alagidede

Nsoatreman Football Club is still waiting for the prize money promised by the organizers of the FA Cup, according to general manager Eric Alagidede.

The team secured a thrilling victory over Bofoakwa Tano in the final, which ended 1-1 after extra time and was decided by penalties.

Richard Dzikoe gave Bofoakwa Tano the lead in the 22nd minute, but Nsoatreman fought back to equalize through Sadat Mohammed in the 80th minute. The team's triumph in the FA Cup means they will represent Ghana in the 2024 CAF Confederation Cup.

"No we haven't yet received it because when we secured the trophy on Sunday on Monday we took the trophy to board chairman at the Ministry of Employment and from there we did a dinner at Kempinski," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"On Tuesday we traveled with the trophy to Nsoatre to show the supporters who throughout the season they have backed us. So as I speak to when we took the trophy to Nsoatre on Tuesday I returned yesterday to Accra so we waiting maybe in the cause of the week we will receive our money,"
