Hearts of Oak have stepped up their preparations for the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko in the coming weekend.

The Phobians will make the trip to Kumasi this weekend to take on the Porcupine Warriors in a Week 31 encounter of the Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak will be heading into the match on the back of a poor run that has left head coach Aboubakar Ouattara concerned.

In the last five matches of the Phobians, they have won twice and lost three.

The last match of the team saw them losing 1-0 to Aduana Stars, a game that left coach Ouattara fuming in his post-match.

To get the team back to winning ways, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara intensified training for his players on Wednesday as part of preparations for the game against Asante Kotoko.

Hearts of Oak needs to win the upcoming Super Clash on Sunday, May 26, to climb further away from the relegation zone.

A defeat will be dire for the Phobians heading into the last three matches of the Premier League season.
