We’ll exert more energy into Hearts of Oak game – Asante Kotoko striker Steven Mukwala

Asante Kotoko striker Steven Mukwala has promised fans of the club the team will exert more energy into this coming Sunday’s Super Clash against Hearts of Oak.

The highly-anticipated encounter is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on May 26, 24, marking match week 31 of the Ghana Premier League.

Mukwala's pledge comes on the heels of Asante Kotoko's recent 2-1 loss to Berekum Chelsea, which snapped their three-game unbeaten streak. The Ugandan forward, who netted the opener in that match, bringing his season tally to 12 goals, emphasized the team's determination to bounce back despite the setback suffered at the Golden City Park.

Speaking to the club's media team, Mukwala affirmed, “They should expect more energy this time around. You know, we're just from a defeat,” Mukwala told the club’s media team.

So, yeah, but this Sunday's match, I just want to urge the fans to come in their numbers, to come and support us. They should just be behind us and we are going to give our best.
