The team left the shores of Ghana a fortnight ago to continue with their preparations ahead of the FIFA under-17 world in India, and have been involved in a couple of International friendlies.

The Black Starlets first lost to Mali, who are African Champions 2-1 in Dubai before brushing aside a U.A.E under 18 team 4-0.

With the World Cup just ten days to start , the twinkle twinkle little stars produced another phenomenal performance to beat the Guineans who are also representing Africa at the tournament.

Ghana is making a return to the Championship after a ten year absence, and will be looking forward a third glory after winning in for the last time in 1995.
