Injured Daniel Amartey's right back position at Leicester City taken by Ricardo Pereira

Crocked Ghana defender Daniel Amartey's right back position at English Premier League side Leicester City has been taken over by Ricardo Pareira.

Amartey is out nursing a horrendous ankle injury he sustained whiles playing for the side in an EPL game with West Ham United at the King Power Stadium.

The Ghanaian international is expected to be out for four months and with almost two months gone manager Puel has decided to push Ricardo Pereira to the spot.

Pereira was used at right back as Leicester City drew 1-1 with Fulham at Craven Cottage last weekend.

Puel also chose to protect right-back Ricardo Pereira at Fulham, especially with Daniel Amartey a long-term injury absentee, as he gave Danny Simpson his first Premier League appearance of the season.

City have drawn four of their last six games and have conceded just three goals in that spell.

After Spurs they head to Crystal Palace before taking on Chelsea and Manchester City, with the Carabao Cup quarter final against the league champions sandwiched inbetween.
