The talented youngster suffered a nasty hamstring injury last year in December and ended up missing the remainder of the 2020/2021 English Premier League season.

“Tariq [Lamptey] has made really good progress and has been training with the group for a while, and looking better and better each day," Brighton & Hove manager Graham Potter said in an interview ahead of his team’s game against Leicester City.

Meanwhile, with Brighton continuously enjoying a good run in the English Premier League, it is expected that it will be very difficult for Tariq Lamptey to regain his place in the starting eleven.

According to medical experts, he might even be forced to change his style of play to suit the currently playing style of his team and to also avoid future injury.
